In Person & Online – Watch Live on Our Website

We invite you to join us in person or virtually for a powerful conversation about how education and digital technology are empowering girls in Kenya and Afghanistan. This session will feature youth leaders who are actively working to create sustainable change through education, mentorship, and digital learning tools. We will explore how to use education to break the cycle of poverty, promote gender equality, and bridge the digital divide.

My Chosen Vessels (MCV) is honored to host and partner with Flowers for the Future (FFF) for this important side event at the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum. MCV has been dedicated to improving the lives of the Maasai Indigenous community through water access, education, and cultural preservation. Whether you’re attending in person or tuning in online, we encourage you to be part of this global conversation that is shaping the future of girls’ education and youth empowerment.

Key Objectives:

  • SDG 3 – Health & Well-being: Discuss how educating girls contributes to improved health and well-being for all generations, especially in marginalized communities.
  • SDG 5 – Gender Equality: Share stories of overcoming gender barriers and creating leadership opportunities for girls in Kenya and Afghanistan through education and mentorship.
  • SDG 4 – Quality Education: Explore how digital tools and culturally sensitive, trauma-informed learning are expanding educational access for marginalized youth.
  • SDG 8 – Economic Growth & Employment: Learn how education is creating employment pathways and addressing economic inequalities in communities.

Why Attend:

This event offers a unique opportunity to hear from student panelists who are directly involved in peer-led education and mentorship. Their stories of how education is breaking barriers, creating sustainable communities, and fostering economic growth will inspire all attendees. Join us to see how youth-led initiatives can make a lasting impact and create positive change worldwide.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of a conversation that is shaping the future of girls’ education and youth empowerment!

Join us to watch the event live and learn how education is transforming the lives of girls and communities worldwide.
